The National Medicines Information Centre (NMIC) provides an enquiry answering service to healthcare professionals on all aspects of the therapeutic use of medicines. We provide independent information and advice on such topics as:

• Indications, contraindications and dosage for specific drugs
• Drug interactions and adverse effects
• Drug use in pregnancy, breastfeeding, liver and renal impairment
• Identification of medicines
• Information on sourcing of medicines

The NMIC also publishes a bulletin every two months and the newsletter Therapeutics Today monthly. Both publications are available on the website or by post or email to individual healthcare professionals.
